Easter is the holiday when almost everyone eats chocolate or something sweet, and the data backs it up. According to a survey conducted on behalf of grocery delivery service Instacart, 77% of Americans plan to buy Easter candy this week. And 65% believe that Easter candy is the best candy of the year in terms of seasonal candy. This makes sense because while Halloween The Candy holiday, which is geared mostly towards children.

Instacart delved into their platform data to find out which candy had the most sales ahead of the holiday bunny. Here’s a countdown to the #1 most popular Easter candy in America.

These pastel-coated eggs are 100% milk chocolate and are always a welcome addition to your Easter basket.

While a third of Americans say they don’t really like these little marshmallows, a quarter say they buy it for the sake of tradition. Also interesting is that yellow colors are the most common, although they now come in a wide variety of flavors. The coffee, cranberry, spicy tamales, sour melon, and chocolate pudding flavors didn’t seem to spread in the same way.

Technically, these are jelly beans with a fun marketing spin. They come in classic flavors like pineapple, lemon, lime, orange, raspberry, cherry, grape, and licorice. A quarter of Americans say jelly beans are their favorite Easter dessert with cherries, oranges, and lemons.
