Hill: Biden and Modi have a ‘frank exchange’ on Russia
President Biden had a “frank exchange of views” on Monday in an hour-long virtual call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to a senior US official.
India continued to buy Russian oil as the United States and other countries imposed sanctions on Moscow for its invasion of Ukraine.
During a National Security Council briefing after the meeting, the official described the conversation as “warm and fruitful” despite the differences.
