The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stopped in the UK on Thursday to visit the 95-year-old Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle while on their way to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games, a spokesperson for the couple told CBS News.
CBS News partner BBC News reports Harry was last reported to be in the UK in July 2021, and Meghan is not believed to have been in the country since 2020. The couple stepped down as senior royals at the start of 2020 .
Buckingham Palace said it would not comment on private matters.

Queen Elizabeth recently had problems with mobility and withdrew from a number of public events, including Thursday’s Maundy Service, a traditional coin-distributing party she has attended for 52 years. She is not expected to attend Easter church services this weekend.
Prince Harry did not attend a memorial service in London for his grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, last month.
The Invictus Games, a sporting event established by Prince Harry for wounded and sick soldiers, women and war veterans, began on April 16 in The Hague.
